Sunova Solar Becomes Thornova Solar
In order to standardize our brands worldwide, we have decided to merge our Sunova Solar and Thornova Solar brands. The Thornova brand is already used in North America and Mexico. Thornova, based on the Norse god Thor, perfectly represents the company’s values and is therefore a valued name sponsor.
As the ever-growing, innovative and expanding company that we are, we will standardize our brand globally and reflect our corporate values in our brand name.
Thor, one of the great Norse gods, was considered the protector of mankind and the planet Earth, the lord of the weather and electrical energy. As climate change is one of the most dramatic challenges of our time, we want to make a contribution to the preservation and defense of a planet worth living on with our solar modules. With this in mind, we have decided to leave the Sunova Solar brand behind and continue our future as Thornova Solar.
Our latest High Density PV modules deliver exceptional power production and are used in applications ranging from floating solar systems to installations in normal terrain and at high altitudes in the Alps.
Recent studies around the world have shown that large solar parks not only convert sunlight into electricity, but can also promote cloud formation and thus rain in desert regions – a clear Thor attribute for protecting our planet, which is also reflected in our ambitious vision to become one of the world’s leading providers of green energy in the PV sector.
In addition, Thor’s personality traits, such as admitting mistakes, tackling challenges head-on, embracing change as an opportunity for growth and seeing people as the most important asset, perfectly reflect our company principles. Thornova Solar is committed to embracing change, working as a team, being strong, being brave, being ambitious and being our own heroes. Together with our mission to become the most customer-oriented company, this makes us a trustworthy and sustainable long-term partner for our customers and all other stakeholders alike.
The complete transition to the Thornova Solar brand will be final and smooth. In the coming months, our two brands – Sunova Solar and Thornova Solar – will stand side by side in our corporate communications to commemorate our origins, express our evolution and reaffirm our commitment to our customers to provide the best technical support.
All commitments and contracts as well as the guarantees and their insurances concluded under the Sunova Solar brand name remain valid without restriction.
