Sunova Solar Completes Final Certification With Munich Re

Munich RE’s support gives project owners and developers the assurance that Sunova Solar’s solar modules will be bankable for 25 to 30 years.

Wuxi, September 28, 2023 – Sunova Solar is proud to announce the final certification of its photovoltaic warranty insurance with Munich Re Green Tech Solutions, the leading provider of photovoltaic warranty insurance.

On September 26, William Sheng, CEO of Sunova Solar, and Kollsman Chan, Regional Head of Business Development at Munich Re Green Tech Solutionssigned the agreement at a ceremony at Sunova’s global headquarters.

Munich Re’s reinsurance gives project owners and developers the security of knowing that Sunova Solar’s solar modules will be bankable for 25 to 30 years. PV reinsurance is crucial for the bankability and reliability of large solar projects.

The certification process for the PV reinsurance included a technical due diligence and several factory visits by munich RE to verify the quality and performance of Sunova Solar products.
