Thornova Solar Exhibiting At Intersolar Munich Booth A3240

Sunova / Thornova Solar will be exhibiting at Intersolar Munich at stand A3.240. The focus will be on the presentation of new TOPCon products for the residential sector, the alpine sector and for agricultural photovoltaics as well as the latest high-density N-type modules for C&I and utility-scale applications. The rebranding of Sunova Solar to Thornova Solar is another focus, as is the establishment of the joint venture with the Austrian company Solenso under the name ALP (Advanced Lasting Photovoltaics). The company receives the PVEL TOP Performer Award for its PERC modules.

This year is a special year for Sunova Solar, as the company recently announced that it will change its brand name to Thornova Solar – a brand the company already uses in North America – in order to gradually standardize its brand name globally. The complete changeover will take place at the beginning of 2025.

With the ALP joint venture, Sunova / Thornova Solar is penetrating deeper into the European market, demonstrating the company’s commitment to this region. Our JV partner Solenso from Austria is an expert in the marketing of photovoltaic solutions for special applications. Accordingly, the ALP JV will be the sales channel for all specialty products, such as alpine modules that can withstand snow loads of up to 8000Pa, agricultural modules that help to overcome the dichotomy of scarce land use between food and energy, and DITB-certified in-roof modules for overhead use, e.g. in carports and facades.

For utility-scale applications, Sunova / Thornova Solar will be presenting the Tangra L Pro 710, a bifacial module with 132 N-type TOPCon cells and an efficiency of 22.9 %.

For C&I applications and solar parks, the Tangra L HD 615 is the latest high-density module equipped with 132 rectangular TOPCon cells of type N and an efficiency of 22.8 %.

For private customers, we are introducing quick and easy-to-install kits for balcony and garden solutions equipped with our aesthetically pleasing, all-black Tangra S Pro Black modules with up to 440W. This means that almost everyone can participate in the energy transition in one way or another. Liekipedia will also be presenting its fence PV solutions with Sunova / Thornova solar modules, which provide effective privacy protection and generate environmentally friendly energy at the same time.

Regular presentations on all days of Intersolar provide deeper insights into the individual products and enable visitors to gain a deeper understanding of the benefits of the respective solutions.

On Wednesday, June 19 at 1:00 pm, we are looking forward to the presentation of the PVEL TOP Performer Award for the bifacial PERC module TS-BG72(550) from Thornova.
